Specialist partners

The specialists we introduce, when they are needed

Defence Access owns the commercial route to market. When formal readiness, compliance, security or certification becomes relevant, we introduce specialist partners rather than overclaim their expertise.

Where partners help

The support we can bring in

These are the kinds of specialist support a defence engagement can need. We do not deliver them ourselves. We connect you with people who do.

Supplier readiness and assurance

Getting a business ready for the checks buyers and primes run before they engage.

Governance and quality

Management systems, quality standards and the organisational evidence buyers expect.

Cyber readiness and Secure by Design

Cyber posture, secure development and the readiness defence buyers increasingly ask for.

CMMC and JOSCAR support

Support with supplier registers and accreditation schemes used across the defence supply chain.

Formal bid and proposal writing

Specialist bid teams for when a live tender needs a formal, compliant written response.

Public procurement and tender compliance

Advisers who interpret procurement rules and tender requirements properly.

Export controls

Specialist advice on export licensing, restricted goods and related obligations.

Security vetting and clearances

Guidance on personnel and facility security requirements where an engagement needs it.

Certification

Formal certification against the standards a buyer or programme requires.

How referrals work

Referrals, handled honestly

Referrals are only useful if they are trustworthy. These are the rules we work to, in both directions.

Reciprocal by default

The standing arrangement is mutual referral, with no money changing hands. Most partner value is exchanged in kind.

Any fee is in writing

If a referral fee is ever agreed, it is documented: the parties, the rate, the scope and the disclosure. No handshake commissions.

Legal review for public-sector outcomes

Any arrangement where payment depends on a public-sector contract outcome goes to legal review before it is offered or accepted, mindful of the Bribery Act 2010.

Disclosure, both directions

Where a fee arrangement exists, the client is told, whichever way the referral flows. Hidden commissions are how trust dies in a small market.

Conflicts are managed

Partner relationships are logged, and conflicts are tracked by segment, buyer group, capability and opportunity.
